Favorite Activity

One thing I really enjoy is playing my violin. Even though playing/practicing tends to be a solo endeavor I do take part in other ensembles and activities as well. Recently, I've been playing in the Rutherford County Symphony and its been a positive change playing in an ensemble instead of just practicing with private lessons. I enjoy the ensemble work because you really get to connect with other artists. Also, the musical intensity while playing in an ensemble and seeing others build upon one another has always been interesting to watch. I've also participated in talent shows and have played in various part of America and in Russia. I think I enjoy it because it's always been a constant in my life. Being the universal language, music provides an outlet for me to express myself when words are just not enough.
